Volcanic Garden
Auckland
A challenging garden visualisation project in Auckland. The Landscape architect asked us to prepare images of a tropical-style design concept for presentation to the client. The plan included 2 tiers of basalt stone walls that echo the exposed edge of a lava-flow running across the rear of the site, a fish pond, and reuse of several existing specimen plants including a massive jacaranda tree believed to be about 80years old. Fortunately we were able to find, or make, high quality models of the plants significant for the design and successfully convey the atmosphere the Landscape Architect was trying to create.
